There's a secret in our culture, and it is not that birth is painful. It's that women are strong.

Hi I’m Courtney, I am originally from Sydney and moved to Perth in 2018 with my partner. I studied a Bachelor of Midwifery at the University of Technology Sydney.  I have been a midwife since 2014 (for around 9 years) and have worked across a range of models of midwifery care. I have worked in tertiary hospitals, hospital-based midwifery group practice programs and in community homebirth programs. 

I love being a midwife and have decided to work as an endorsed private midwife to be able to provide choice to women and their families.   I love getting to know women and their families, walking alongside them to provide support and education on the journey of pregnancy, birth and throughout the transition to parenthood.  My favourite part of continuity of care is getting to form such a special relationship with women, and really getting to know a family right down to names of pets.
